New date: 6-8 May 2022 (BEAUTY) / 7-8 May 2022 (TOP HAIR) Industry representatives advocate the re-scheduling
Messe Düsseldorf postpones the two trade fairs BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF and TOP HAIR - DIE MESSE Düsseldorf in consultation with the co-organizer, partners and associations involved to early summer 2022. In view of the currently very dynamic infection patterns and the rapid spread of the Omicron variant the events originally planned for the period from 4 to 6 March (BEAUTY) respectively 5 to 6 March (TOP HAIR) can no longer be kept. The next BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF, the leading meeting point for Cosmetics, Nail, Foot, Wellness & Spa, will be held from Friday, 6 May 2022, to Sunday, 8 May 2022. Overlapping by two days TOP HAIR – DIE MESSE Düsseldorf, Europe’s leading event for hairdressers, will run on Saturday and Sunday, 7 and 8 May 2022.
Wolfram N. Diener, CEO of Messe Düsseldorf, emphasizes the backing for the new trade fair dates: “The tenor among our exhibitors is: We want and need the trade fairs BEAUTY and TOP HAIR – but at a point in time that promises the biggest prospects of success. Together with the partners and associations involved we regard early summer as the ideal period for this. We not only expect infection patterns to calm down but also more people to be able to enter the country and take part. This means exhibiting companies as well as visitors can do their business in an environment that is clearly less affected by Covid-19.”
Christian Schikora, Managing Director of TOP HAIR International GmbH: "Unfortunately, the virus leaves us no room to maneuver. The following still applies to us: The health of our visitors, our exhibitors, all players and the trade fair team is our top priority. We take our responsibility very seriously and have therefore taken the decision to postpone the TOP HAIR trade fair by two months in agreement with our partner, Messe Düsseldorf, but also after fair and friendly discussions with many exhibitors. Our goal remains to hold the highest quality event in our industry. The whole TOP HAIR team is now looking forward to seeing you again on 7 and 8 May."
