Reed Exhibitions announced on September 1 in-cosmetics Asia, initially scheduled to take place on 3-5 November 2020 at BITEC in Bangkok, will now be postponed to 2-4 November 2021 at the same venue.
in-cosmetics Asia is the leading event in Asia Pacific for personal care ingredients, and its enduring success is founded on its visitor appeal throughout Asia-Pacific and the support of exhibitors from across the globe. However, Reed Exhibitions said they have taken the difficult but necessary decision in these difficult and uncertain times in light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation and the recent fifth extension of the emergency decree in Thailand, because the country remains closed to most foreign visitors for the foreseeable future with local gatherings restricted. Whilst we are disappointed that we are unable to run a live event this year, this decision was made to safeguard the interest of all their exhibitors, visitors and partners, they said.
Meanwhile, the organizers stated that they are committed to keeping the personal care ingredients community connected. They are going virtual with a series of webinars focusing on ingredients, formulation guidance and trends as well as the new in-cosmetics Connect information hub.
Nevertheless, all beauty professionals known that nothing can replace the experience of a live and vibrant event like in-cosmetics Asia. We look forward to its physical return in Bangkok on 2-4 November 2021.
