Mandelic Acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid obtained from the extract of Bitter Almonds which Showed excellent as chemical peel causing neither burning nor irritations. Non-photosensitizing, it has an excellent whitening effect and it is suitable for all types of skin, even the most sensitive because well tolerated.
Peels are treatments used to make skin smoother and improve its appearance enhancing the normal potential of the skin, considered as a dynamic organ. Every day the outer layer of the skin eliminates a large number of keratinized cells through a physiological mechanism. A chemical peel is an accelerated form of exfoliation made with a chemical ingredient. The application of a chemical peel creates noticeable changes in the skin through three mechanisms:

● The stimulation of cellular turnover through the removal of dead cells from the outer layer
● The elimination of damaged and degenerated epidermal cells that will be replaced by normal epidermal cells
